Why? Because of what science has discovered about Chiral Technology. What is Chiral Technology
you ask? Well, if you don't know (and I didn't), you will. The world
is buzzing about this new scientific breakthrough. The importance of
Chirality was first recognized in the laboratory of the famous chemist
Louis Pasteur. The word "Chirality" is derived from the Greek word "chir",
which means "hand". It refers to a mirror image phenomenon frequently
found in nature, e.g., human hands, eyes and feet are identical
opposites, or mirror images, of each other.
Mainstream skin care in today's market is primarily
topical, and mostly formulated with ingredients that are "racemic"
compounds i.e., a pair of chemical molecules known as enantiomers. In
virtually all aspects, the two "parts" are physically and chemically
identical, except for one critical area, how they link up and interact,
or, more importantly, react with other molecules in the body.

Chirally Correct molecules (molecules that have been separated), have the unique ability to link up perfectly with the skin's cells, or body receptors, to produce only the positive effects of each ingredient or nutrient, while virtually eliminating any adverse reactions. In other words, the human body is selective about which "part" of a given compound it can put to use and which is useless, or even harmful. (This is one reason that many people are allergic to many skin care products).
Scientists have firmly established that Chirally Correct molecules determine how, or even if, a particular ingredient will be effective. Therefore, in order for a product to be the most effective, its ingredients must be Chirally Correct. Only Chirally Correct ingredients can restore Chiral purity and alignment on a molecular level, and therefore, on a cellular level. Chirally Correct, fresh ingredients deliver nutrients deep into the cell's structure, nutrients that your skin can not only recognize, but use.
Research has clearly shown that Chiral compounds and their properties are part of every biochemical process in the human body. They are the root cause of why some products or ingredients work and others do not. Bio-living matter contains an equal number of L and D molecules, yet a characteristic signature of compounds is that only one hand (the L or the D) works to achieve a specific result. When ingredient compounds are synthesized in a lab, a 50/50 (racemic) mixture is made, containing both the L and the D, but the body or skin can only benefit by either the L or the D side. While the L may give desired results, the D may cause problems - or visa versa depending on the case. When a product is Chirally Correct, it means that it contains only the side of the molecule with the ability to give the desired results (by the way, always identified on the product label by either an L for the left side of the molecule or D for the right side, before each of the ingredients).
