Step 3 Skin Bleaching & Corrector Cream Obagi Clear is the major bleaching and correcting preparation in the Obagi Nu-Derm Skin Health Restoration program. Formulated for maximum surface bleaching, it contains 4% hydroquinone (prescription strength) as the active ingredient in an activating base to increase its effectiveness. Bleaching with hydroquinone suppresses the overproduction of melanin. This rich skin cream lightens dark areas in the skin such as freckles, age and liver spots. Obagi Clear is to be used twice daily until the expected results have been achieved. Thereafter, it is to be used as needed to maintain results. CAUTION: Do NOT use this product if pregnant or nursing.
Is the Obagi Nu-Derm System Right for You?
- Apply Obagi Clear evenly on the entire face, morning and evening, avoiding the eyelids, extending to the hairline, over the ears and ending with a feathering motion from the jawline down the next. Wait 2 minutes and a second coat can be applied over darker pigmented lesions.
- Note: Patients with dark skin should use Obagi Clear on the entire face once a day, preferably in the morning and apply at night on the darkest areas only. Once a desirable color tone is achieved, use Clear only as needed.

Each gram of Obagi NuDerm Clear contains Hydroquinone USP 40 mg/gm in a base of purified water, cetyl alcohol, glycerine, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearyl alcohol, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbic acid, sodium metabisulfite, lactic acid, saponins, sodium EDTA, methyl paraben, BHT, propryl paraben, butyl paraben.
